Tapa cloth and Papyrus are typically floated on matt board and then assembled into a spacer frame – allowing for an air cavity to set the artwork away from the glass.
We can however frame them behind the matt like traditional works, but floating on the matt board allows for the edges to show of the object, often adding an authentic feeling to the piece.
